nordhorny get your facts straight the brown bear is the biggest bear on the planet, Polar bears are second biggest, They are longer and have less muscle than a brown bear. They are made more for swimming in the clod climate that they live in. the brown bears have that hugh hump on thier shoulders which is pure muscle for digging, fighting etc...Some of the biggest brown bears weighed in at around 2000 pounds and 12-14 feet in length.
I know that, what I was arguing was that polar bears have higher fat % and different body build to brown bears. So if you had a large brown bear and polar bear of similar size, the brown bear would be more muscular, and some brown bears can get to the size of polar bears

A shit load of Eskimos might disagree with you on that. Polar bears are strictly carnivorous were all other bears are omnivores.
